Get Involved at The Cathedral
At Christ Church Cathedral, connection is more than just a social calendar—it is how we grow in faith and support one another in the heart of Houston. Whether you are seeking a quiet place for prayer, a lively group for study, or a hands-on way to serve our neighbors, there is a path for you here. Explore the many ways to engage, belong, and become part of our story.
Our Ministries
Children
We create safe, welcoming spaces where children can weave faith into their daily lives. We love having children in worship—their curiosity and wiggles are a joyful part of our community.
Youth
The Treehouse is a place for big questions, deep friendships, and—of course—doughnuts. We focus on formation, outreach, and community, treating our youth as the leaders they are today.
Young Adults
Our Young Adult ministry is a relaxed space to find your “people” at the Cathedral. Led by Canon Bradley Varnell, we gather for fellowship, service, and theological deep dives.
Adults
Our adult ministries offer opportunities to grow in faith, build meaningful relationships, and stay connected through groups, studies, and gatherings. Whether you’re looking to learn, connect, or simply belong, you’re invited to join us.
Education in Spanish
A través de servicios, estudios y oportunidades de conexión, buscamos apoyar a personas y familias en su idioma y cultura, construyendo una comunidad donde todos son bienvenidos y pueden pertenecer.
Bible Studies, Groups & Classes
No one walks the path of faith alone. We offer a variety of small groups, Bible studies, and seasonal classes designed to spark conversation and deepen your understanding of God and the world. From the intellectually stimulating Dean’s Hour to intimate prayer circles, there is a space for your questions and your insights.
Life Events
Baptisms, Weddings & Funerals
The Cathedral is a sanctuary for all of life’s most sacred moments. We are honored to walk with you through the joys of baptisms and weddings, and to provide comfort and hope during funerals and memorials.
Serve Our Community
Volunteer Opportunities
Faith comes alive when we put it into action. From our historic Beacon ministry serving unhoused people to our vibrant music programs, our ministries and partners offer a chance to use your hands and heart for a higher purpose.
