The Movable Feast: Worship, Formation & Fellowship for the Whole Family

What if one Sunday a month was set aside for a holy adventure — where worship, learning, and a good meal all moved together like a joyful parade? That’s The Movable Feast.

We begin at 9 a.m. with worship in the Cathedral, gathering as one family to lift our hearts, voices, and prayers together. It’s a warm and welcoming entry point for families with young children just learning the rhythms of Sunday morning. At 10 a.m., we move into Formation Hour — Sunday School for children, youth, and adults alike. Kids delight in scripture and story; youth and adults deepen their faith in classes geared to where they are. No one leaves the table empty-handed.

And then comes the feast itself. At 11 a.m., the Children & Family Ministries Council hosts a lunchtime celebration on the Huffington Playground — tables full of food, laughter, and the kind of joyful, unhurried fellowship that reminds us God’s love is best enjoyed in community. Together we worship, learn, and feast, moving in step with a Spirit who always makes room for one more.

No registration required — just show up! In the event of inclement weather, we’ll move indoors. Look for sandwich boards around campus with updated locations.
