The Climb: Celebration for Rising 5th Graders Moving Up to the Treehouse

At Christ Church Cathedral, we mark the moments that matter — and moving from elementary Sunday School into the Treehouse is one of them.

The Climb is our celebration of rising 5th graders as they take this next step in their faith formation. On Sunday, April 26, families are invited to attend either the 9 a.m. service or the 1 p.m. service (offered in Spanish). During worship, we’ll pause to honor our 5th graders with a brief prayer and present them with gifts to mark the occasion.

Following the service, the newly minted Treehouse students will head upstairs for their very first Sunday School session in their new home. It’s a milestone worth celebrating — and we want your whole family there for it.

Whether your child has grown up in our pews or is newer to the Cathedral community, The Climb is a warm and joyful send-off into the next chapter of their journey with God and with us.
