About The Event

The excitement of global football season continues at the Cathedral! Take a mid-week break for 30 minutes of incredible live music designed to connect culture and community through our summer series, Sounds of the World: Pipes, Praise & Soccer.

Our featured guest artist this week is Katherine Jolliff from St. Anne Catholic Community, bringing her immense talent to our historic sanctuary. Come hear familiar favorites, classical masterpieces, and spirited anthems like “Waka Waka” or “You’ll Never Walk Alone.”

Make a Day of It:

  • 10:30–11:00 a.m. – Sounds of the World Mini-Concert with Katherine Jolliff.

  • 10:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m. – Cathedral Bookstore Open: Stop by to shop their unique collection of books and local gifts.

  • Historic Tours – Walk the halls of Houston’s oldest continuous congregation.

  • 12:05 p.m. – Midday service of Noonday Prayer in Golding Chapel.

  • 11:00 a.m.-2:00 p.m. –  Food – Grab a delicious Southern lunch at Treebeards in the Cloister.
