About The Event
Looking for a unique way to celebrate Houston’s international soccer summer? Join us at Christ Church Cathedral for a delightful, accessible morning concert that bridges the gap between stadium energy and sacred spaces. Our weekly series, Sounds of the World: Pipes, Praise & Soccer, showcases the incredible versatility and grandeur of the Cathedral organ.
This week’s 30-minute mini-recital features guest organist John Kirk from St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church. From high-energy fugues to Gershwin favorites and football crowd-pleasers, this program has something for everyone.
