Education for Ministry (EfM) Graduation & Reception

Celebrate Our Graduates!

So often, we hear God’s voice whisper to us: “Come be with me.” Yet, knowing how to deepen our spiritual life can be a challenge. Over the past academic year, four dedicated members of our community stepped onto that path of discovery through Education for Ministry (EfM). By looking deeply at scripture, engaging with Christian tradition, and sharing their journeys in community, they have cultivated an informed faith to help them live as full Christians in our day-to-day world.

Schedule of Events

• 11:00 AM | Graduation Ceremony: We will honor our graduates with a special ceremony integrated into our regular Sunday morning worship service.

• 12:15 PM (Post-Service) | Celebration Reception: Immediately following worship, join us in the Mellinger Room for light refreshments, fellowship, and celebration.

Who is Invited?

Everyone! This is a community-wide celebration. We especially invite:

• All parishioners who want to support and congratulate our graduates.

• EfM Alumni: Come reconnect and celebrate the continued legacy of the program in our parish.

• The Curious: If you have ever wondered what EfM is about, or if you are hearing those whispers of “what’s next” for your own spiritual journey, this is the perfect, low-pressure environment to ask questions.

Curious About Joining the Next Class?

EfM is like a spiritual safari that expands your horizons and gives your life and faith new meaning. After a summer break, our next class will begin on Tuesday, September 8, 2026. To accommodate busy schedules, the group will be transitioning to a Zoom-only format this year. If you want a taste of the program without a multi-year commitment, ask us about the new one-year “Wide Angle” track at the reception!
