About the Event

Go deeper in your faith with Education for Ministry (EfM), a program of theological education and reflection designed to help Christians connect faith with everyday life.

Developed by the School of Theology at the University of the South, EfM brings together a small seminar group each week for study, conversation, theological reflection, and community. Participants explore Scripture, church history, and theology while learning to recognize how God is at work in their lives and in the world around them.

The traditional EfM curriculum includes study of the Old Testament, New Testament, church history, and theology. Participants may also choose the Wide Angle track, which offers an introduction to the breadth of EfM within one year.

The Cathedral’s EfM group meets weekly throughout the nine-month academic year with a trained mentor. For the 2026–27 program year, meetings will be held entirely online via Zoom.
