Cathedral Sees: “Pride” at the River Oaks Theatre

In 1984, Welsh miners found themselves on strike and supported by an unlikely group of allies: gay and lesbian activists from London. Starring Bill Nighy, Imelda Staunton, and Andrew Scott, Pride (2014) tells the true story of this unlikely union, and the power of solidarity to change hearts and transform communities.

The Cathedral will sponsor a showing of Pride at the historic River Oaks Theatre on Saturday, June 20 at 2:30 PM. Tickets may be purchased directly from the River Oaks Theatre at the link below.
