We invite you to step away from the busyness of the week for a special Ascension Day service in the serene setting of Golding Chapel. This service combines our traditional Noonday Prayer with the celebration of the Holy Eucharist.

What is Ascension Day?

Ascension Day marks the 40th day of Easter, commemorating the Christian belief in the bodily ascension of Jesus into heaven. It is a significant feast day that signifies the transition of Christ’s presence from a physical, earthly form to a spiritual, universal presence—reminding us that he remains with us always, even as we carry out his work in the world today.

In the midst of a frantic workday or a crowded schedule, Noonday Prayer offers a vital “spiritual breathing point.” This brief, 25-minute service allows you to:
